Email George V. Fox, CISSP

George V. Fox is the Executive Director of Information and Security Technology for the Division of Public Safety. In this role he oversees the design, installation and maintenance of electronic security infrastructure for the University as well as specialized technology support for the Division. George participates in many University-wide committees, including IT Centers, IT Roundtable, and IT Security committees, and serves as a co-chair on the Life Safety Systems committee.

Before returning home to Philadelphia to work at Penn, George worked at Harvard University as the Senior Information Technology and Security Officer for over a decade. George has extensive experience in security and IT and has earned his CISSP and several other certifications in logical security disciplines.

George spends his free time laughing with his family.

About Information & Security Technology

The Information & Security Technology Department is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of a state-of-the-art electronic security infrastructure for the University.

The team also provides technology services for the entire Division of Public Safety, supporting local and campus-wide initiatives.
