Penn Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 3900 block of Walnut Street. Upon arrival, the complainant reported that a person had gained entry into the complainant’s room and then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. He was last seen in the 3900 block of Walnut Street.

Penn Police received a report of a person with a gun in the 4200 block of Ludlow Street. Upon investigation, it was found that a suspect had fired several shots into the air at this location. The suspect was described as a Black male, medium complexion, 5’10”-6’ tall, wearing a blue-green shirt. There are no reported injuries. Police and security are patrolling the area.

Update: All clear in the area of 3400 Market Street. You may resume usual activity. UPennAlert: Assault in the 3400 block of Market Street. Increased police activity in the area. Police on scene, use caution, avoid the immediate area.

Penn Police received a report of a robbery without weapon which occurred in the 4000 block of Baltimore Avenue. The suspect was described as a Black female approximately 40-45 years of age, 5'4" to 5'7" in height, wearing a blue short sleeve shirt and red sweat pants. The suspect was last seen heading westbound on Woodland Walk. There were no reported physical injuries.
