Police Activity – Suspects in Custody | 3900 block of Walnut Street

Penn Police responded to a call to assist officers in the 3900 block of Walnut Street. While initial reports stated gun shots had been fired, upon investigation it was determined no shots had been fired.

Philadelphia Police Officers were conducting a vehicle stop for investigation in the 3900 block of Walnut Street. The driver and passenger attempted to flee the scene in the vehicle, and were stopped again further west on Walnut Street. Responding police officers quickly apprehended the suspects. During the pursuit, officers believed they heard the sound of what they thought to be shots fired, however it has been confirmed that no shots had been fired. There are no reported injuries.
