PAL Day at the Penn Ice Rink – April 21st
On Monday night we celebrated the annual Police Athletic League (PAL) Day at the University of Pennsylvania Class of 1923 Ice Skating Rink! This event is open to PAL youths from all PAL centers city-wide. Over 170 attendees participated in an enriching (and fun!) after-school activity.
The PAL members were hosted at the Penn Ice Rink on Monday, April 21 from 4-7pm. They were served refreshments including pizza and soda. St. Joes Prep Ice Hockey Team and the Penn Men’s Ice Hockey Club Team volunteered their assistance on the ice, providing skating instruction and guidance. Members of the Division of Public Safety and Philadelphia Police Department also assisted on the ice – and practiced their skating skills!
Thank you to the event sponsors, Business Services, Public Safety, and the Coca-Cola Foundation.
