Honoring K9 Zzisa for 10 years of Dedicated Service to the Community

We celebrate K9 Zzisa as she officially retires from law enforcement this week. Friends and family of Zzisa gathered at DPS HQ to provide well-wishes and celebrate with a party geared towards all the things Zzisa loves – including a special peanut butter cake made just for her, and a piñata filled with tennis balls!

Zzisa, partnered with Sgt. Sean Mackey, served with distinction for 10 years as an ordnance detection K9. She supported efforts to ensure dignitary protection, protected large-scale events and more on our campus. We appreciate her service and wish her the best in retirement.

Thank you for your service, Zzisa!
